Umbria is filled
with great views but this property
offers an exceptional view. Directly
in front of you as you arrive at the
house is a colossal castle built in
the 12th century, which is currently
uninhabited but beyond the beyond and
exotically perched on a hilltop. In
the valley there is another enormous
house, which is stern and austere but
nonetheless intriguing.

This magnificent
17th century Casa Colonica house nearly
defies description. The building materials
used in this 1993/94 restoration are
of the highest quality. The furnishings
are museum quality, selectively collected
by the diplomatic family who often
reside at Torrichella. Due to the elegant
surroundings, persons under 12 are
excluded.

If you are looking
for a simple yet striking apartment
with all the modern conveniences yet
more than 200 years of Umbrian farming
history, here it is; recently restored
by an English Italian couple who live
in the building, this spot would be
especially welcoming in cooler months
as the living room features a huge
fireplace.
