The Staff:
SUZANNE COHEN,
a Kentucky native who moved to Maine in 1964, has been an international
traveler since 1964. She has spent up to 3 months at a time in Great
Britain and Italy. Suzanne is personally acquainted with many of the
property owners and has stayed in most of the homes offered. She is
ardent in her determination to find the most comfortable, traditional
homes for your enjoyment. She is the mother of 3 grown children, 2
overly adored West Highland Terriers, and two grandchildren.
LINDA MAXIM, an Augusta
native, handles our bookkeeping as well as car bookings, and prepares
invoices and catalogs for mailing. Linda will generally be your first
contact with our company as she also handles the phones. Her
understanding of the International Travel Business continues to grow
following 2 trips to England. She is also the mother of two daughters
and one adorable granddaughter.
DIANE ROBERTSON, a Maine
native, claims her children believe she needs a 12-step program for
travel addiction. Diane is a registered travel agent who spent several
years in a full service agency prior to coming here. Diane worked side
by side with Suzanne for nearly 20 years for Maine Public Television.
With her husband, Rodney and with Suzanne, she travels to Europe
several times a year visiting our houses and charting new territories.
(You'll also find her on a cruise boat almost every March.) Diane loves
Italy especially and can talk forever about it. She loves her job and
really enjoys the Septembers in Italy and Novembers in England! She is
the mother of 3 grown daughters and grandmother to two grandsons and
one granddaughter.
MEREDITH COHEN was born with a
suitcase in her layette. She spent a number of holidays as a child
being force fed European culture which was great training for her
current position. She handles our technology department, oversees the
photo gallery and is a skilled photographer herself. She is mom to one
daughter and one large Briard.
MAX, and LIZZIE comprise
our Westie support staff. They come to work daily, answering the door,
greeting the delivery personnel, keeping the under-desk areas free from
leftovers, and relieving staff stress by accepting the occasional tummy
rub.
