Beds and Baths (sleeps 10)

Queen bedroom with an ensuite bath with tub and rain head shower, 2 queens each which also can be made as twins each with ensuite bath with tub and rain head showers, a queen which can be made as twins with an ensuite bath with a glassed shower.  On the top floor the final bedroom has twins with a showered bath.  Please note there is lower headroom in this room.  There is also a guest bath on the ground floor.  All bedrooms have 26” TVs and broadband connection via cable.

Living Space

The living room has a flat screen TV and a working fireplace. This rooms leads to an amazing inside grotto with a hot tub and Turkish bath.  This is truly awesome.  The dining room will seat up to 14 guests and has a working fireplace.  The professional eat in kitchen leads to a covered dining area outside.

Household Amenities

Under floor heating and cooling systems keep the house at a perfect temperature in all seasons except for the 5th bedroom on the top floor.  There is a standard air conditioner here.  There is a central vacuum system, Italian and American coffee machines, professional dishwasher, 6 burner stove, convection oven, toaster, large refrigerator, indoor grill, HiFi, satellite TV, DVD, alarm system, hairdryers and robes in each bath and a clothes washer.  The sun is your dryer.

Outside Features

A lighted 39’x19’5” pool, BBQ, shaded dining pavilion at poolside plus a larger covered dining area just outside the kitchen.  There is a lot of grassy areas and views of the tiny village from every area.  The gardens are heaving with lavender, roses and rosemary.  There are also vineyards and olive groves.

Other Features

Part of this house was once part of the priest’s house so you are near the church bells however they do not ring early, during siesta (2-5 pm) or after 9 pm.  Massages are possible at the house by prior appointment.  The owners also have a restaurant in the village plus a farm store.  They will also cook for you in the house and can offer cooking classes.

Additional costs: electricity for use of hot tub and Turkish bath, extra linen changes, extra maid service 15 euro per hour, art and ceramic classes and masseur. The1000 euro security deposit is paid upon arrival paid in euro (cash).

Lucca 11 miles, western coast 9 miles, Pisa 28 miles, Camiore 3 miles, Florence 1 hour, Portofino about 1 ½ hours, Siena 2 hours, Cinque Terre, 1 hour, open air summer opera theater at Lago Puccini less than ½ hour, small grocery, restaurnt and church in the village.
