Beds and Baths (sleeps 14)

Main house: A bedroom with a large double bed with an en suite bathroom with tub and hanger for the personal shower attachment, 2 queen bedrooms, tubs with hangers for the shower and a dressing room, a king bedroom with en suite bathroom with tub and hanger for shower and a twin bedroom with brass beds which can be pushed together and made with one sheet. There is a bathroom with a stall shower adjacent to this bedroom. There is also a half bathroom on the ground floor.

Guest House: A queen bedroom with French doors with screens and an adjacent bathroom with tub only and a twin bedded room, which can be made as one big bed. This room also has a screened floor to ceiling window with French doors. There is an adjacent bathroom with tub. One room has a daybed.

Living Space

Main house: There is an entry hall with easy access to the large kitchen, which offers everything you would ever need including a cook. There is a marble-topped table for a quick Italian breakfast or the dining room table for 14 for a long leisurely meal. The dishes feature the family crest. There is also a comfy living room with nice couches and chairs. On the upper floor there is a library with a handsome desk.

Guest House: There is a living room with simple furniture and also a very simple kitchen, as most people using this house will join others in the main house. There is a stove, dishwasher and a fridge/freezer. The living room has a non-functioning fireplace.

Household Amenities

Satellite TV, telephone, stereo, Wi-Fi, coffee machine, pizza oven, microwave, side by side fridge, toaster, two stoves with a total of 8 burners, 2 sinks, dishwasher, terracotta floors, screens on most windows, hair dryers in all bathrooms, portable air conditioners in the bedrooms and a fax machine. A reasonable amount of washing and ironing will be provided by the staff without additional charge.

Outside Features

There is a large terrace overlooking 1000 ornamental cherry trees, a sitting area beside the house, a gazebo with table and chairs and a barbecue. The pool measures 19’5” x 42’2” and there is a tented changing room or shaded area near pool. There are lots of chaises, chairs and tables and pool towels are provided. There is a shaded area for cars and an electric gate further enhances your privacy.

Other Features

For a full house, the full time, professional cook may need extra help, which would increase the meal prices a bit (food is extra). If you plan to have meals cooked for you a float is required with the final payment or upon arrival. The cook, one butler, one maid and one gardener for the park and pool area have Sunday off. Children of all ages are accepted. Linen changes are Wednesday and Saturday.

Figlene 5 km, Florence 20 km, Arezzo, shops, hospital, post office, banks and restaurants 10 minutes, Venice and Rome 2 hours, Milan 1.5 hours from Florence on the fast train.
